How will you Exagger-Eyes, darling?

  1. smokey eye eyeshadow look

    Smokey Eye ‘Til I Die

Is there anything more iconic than a smokey eye, darlings? I am known for my smokey, sultry eye makeup and I love how this look transforms people’s confidence – it unlocks that rock chick energy that’s within all of us! To get my signature smokey eye, take a Matte Sculpt shade of my Exagger-Eyes Easy Eyeshadow Stick and scribble it onto your entire eyelid. Then, with your finger or the Eye Smudger Brush, smudge out the edges of your eyeshadow to give it that grungey, smoked-out look – the smudgier, the better! Do the same on your bottom lash line darlings for even more drama, then add lashings of Exagger-Eyes Volume Mascara for those high-volume rockstar lashes.

Charlotte’s Choice: Cocoa Cherry Sculpt for a crimson smokey eye or Chestnut Sculpt for a classic chocolate brown smokey eye.

  2. pretty and fresh eyeshadow look

    Pretty + Fresh

Do you want a quick and easy eyeshadow look that softly illuminates the look of your eyes? When I want eyes to look pretty and fresh with minimal eyeshadow, I reach for a Satin Glow shade of my Exagger-Eyes Easy Eyeshadow Stick and swipe it over the lids to give them a twinkling veil that catches the light and makes eyes glow. This look sits somewhere between clean girl and soft glam and is perfect for understated makeup moments where you still want your eye makeup to pop. If you want your eyes to look bigger and brighter, darlings, remember this easy eye makeup trick!

Charlotte’s Choice: Oyster Twilight for a cool nude glow or Satin Diamonds for a champagne golden glow.

  3. the feline lift eyeshadow look

    The Feline Lift

One of my most requested makeup looks from celebrity clients is my signature Feline Flick. To get a high-drama Feline Flick eyeliner, I love to use liquid eyeliner for the most intense winged look. But darlings, did you know you can get a Feline Lift with only eyeshadow? To get the look, take a Matte Sculpt shade of my eyeshadow stick and scribble it onto the lid and through the crease. With your finger or the Eye Blender Brush, soften and clean up the edges of your eyeshadow and blend it upwards and outwards from the outer corners to create a subtle winged shape. This mimics the effect you get from applying winged eyeliner while keeping your eye makeup soft and pared-back. Complete your look with a pop of shimmer on the inner portion of your eye – this takes your makeup from softly sculpted to gorgeous soft glam in seconds!

Charlotte’s Choice: Cashmere Sculpt for a super subtle wing or Chestnut Sculpt for a deep, dramatic wing. For the perfect pop of shimmer, add Satin Diamonds or Ballet Quartz.

  4. 90s supermodel eyeshadow look

    90s Supermodel

My career as a makeup artist was born in the 90s, darlings… Some of my favourite looks I’ve ever created are inspired by the supermodels that defined the era. 90s makeup was all about cool, sophisticated eye makeup with chiselled structure, deep and dimensional shades, and icy sparkle. To give the eyes that iconic supermodel stare, I take a Matte Sculpt eyeshadow shade and trace through the crease to give the eye area structure and definition to capture that statuesque, runway model presence. Then, I take a Satin Glow shade and cover the rest of the eyelid to create a glowing finish that’s destined for the catwalk.

Charlotte’s Choice: Mink Sculpt is the perfect cool-toned 90s brown and the sparkle of Oyster Twilight complements it flawlessly.

  5. Dreamy Eyes eyeshadow look

    Dreamy Eyes

I call this look the Dreamy Eyes look, darlings, because it creates the most beautiful gradient. It’s perfect for getting that undone eyeshadow look – no intricate lines or dialled up dimension, just a clean wash of colour that transitions effortlessly from blurred matte to beautiful shimmer. This look is so easy to create, darlings… Just scribble your Matte Blur shade onto the outer half of your eyelid and do the same with your Satin Glow shade on the inner half. With your ring finger or the Eye Blender Brush, gently pat out the edges for a super-flattering diffused finish, then use windscreen wiper motions between the two shades to harmonise them in the centre of your lid. When one shade flows flawlessly into the next, that’s when your eyeshadow blend is complete!

Charlotte’s Choice: Desert Sculpt and Amber Haze or Chestnut Sculpt and Astral Topaz.

  6. spotlight eyes eyeshadow look

    Spotlight Eyes

Darlings, this is the look that’s guaranteed to make your eyes pop in every photograph! The Spotlight Eyes look is my take on a beautiful halo eye. It focuses shimmer in the centre of your eyelids to catch and reflect light, giving them a beautiful spotlight glow! With a deeper shade of eyeshadow, deepen the inner and outer corners of your eye and softly trace through your crease to form a halo-like ring. Keeping the centre of your lid as the lightest part of your eye, take your favourite shimmery eyeshadow and pat it on to create a spotlight effect. This eyeshadow look has that super-glam aura that says I’m ready for my close-up.

Charlotte’s Choice: Cocoa Cherry Sculpt and Bronzed Garnet or Mink Sculpt and Oyster Twilight.

Coquette makeup has been trending on social media with beauty lovers using soft, neutral eye makeup to create dainty looks that fit the coquette aesthetic. Coquette means to be flirtatious and playful, and coquette eyes channel this by appearing full and fluttery to draw people in. Get the look: Sweep the enchanting shades in my Pillow Talk Luxury Palette onto your lids to create dreamy, coquette-inspired beauty, then use The Classic powder eyeliner pencil to sketch out a subtle winged eyeliner. 2. Michaela Jae Rodriguez wearing a cut crease eye makeup look for Charlotte's Pillow Talk Party campaign

    Cut Crease Eye Makeup

The 2010s saw cut crease makeup skyrocket in popularity – every influencer and makeup artist was creating bold and beautiful cut crease makeup looks in a rainbow of colours, and it’s still a mesmerising eye makeup look to try today! To create a cut crease makeup look, concealer or cream eyeshadows are used to cut a well-defined crease shape that creates a line of contrast between the eyelid and eye socket. This artistic eye makeup style is all about precision and requires a steady hand.

Get the look: Once you’ve applied your favourite eyeshadow through your natural crease and along your eye socket, take Charlotte’s Beautiful Skin Radiant Concealer on my Eye Liner Brush and meticulously create a crescent shape from the inner corner to the outer corner of your eye. After cutting your crease, fill in the rest of your eyelid with concealer and set it into place with an eyeshadow that closely matches your skin tone.

Tilbury Tip: Cut crease makeup can follow your natural eye socket, or you can create the illusion of a crease above your natural eyelids for a bigger, more animated eye look.

  3. Model wearing a 60s-inspired doe eyes makeup look

    Doe Eyes Makeup

Bigger, brighter-looking eyes will always be in style, darlings, and the doe eyed makeup look is the perfect way to enlarge and enhance the look of your eyes! Doe eyes refers to the doe-like, wide-eyed gaze that was popular in the 60s, and the look has continued to be a staple over the decades. With makeup, you can accentuate the roundness of your eyes, helping them to appear bigger, brighter and more open.

Get the look: Brush the soft, brown tones from The Super Nudes Easy Eye Palette through your crease, then apply a bright, shimmering shade from my Bigger, Brighter Eyes Palette to the centre of the lid to make them pop. Glide the pearlescent shade from my Hollywood Exagger-Eyes Liner Duo through the waterline to help eyes appear brighter and more prominent, then apply lashings of mascara to help lashes appear lifted and doe eyed.

Tilbury Tip: You can draw on individual false eyelashes with a liquid eyeliner like The Feline Flick to get the wide-eyed effect. Lightly flick along the lower lashline to create the illusion of piecey bottom lashes that look dreamily doe eyed.

  6. Blessing wearing a siren eyes eye makeup look for Charlotte's Pillow Talk Party campaign

    Siren Eyes Makeup

Have you heard of my iconic Feline Flick eyeliner look, darlings? Siren eyes are an emerging beauty trend that uses a similar technique to my Feline Flick winged liner method. To create this sultry, smoked-out eyeliner look, use an eyeliner to sketch out a lift-effect winged eyeliner, then use a dark eyeshadow to smoke upwards and outwards to create that captivating siren eyes effect. Then, delicately apply liquid eyeliner to sharpen the look of your inner corners and complete your transformation into a smouldering siren.

Get the look: Reach for a liquid eyeliner like The Feline Flick in Panther to create a dramatic winged eyeliner, flicking upwards and outwards at the outer corner and creating an angular V shape at the inner corner that points downwards. Then, use the deepest shades in The Super Nudes Easy Eye Palette to give your eyeliner a smokier finish before applying mascara.

Sleepy eyes makeup focuses on making eyes appear droopier and more down-turned as though you’re ready for a blissful night of beauty sleep. The sleepy eyes effect comes from keeping makeup minimal on your lids – maybe just a hint of eyeliner – then smoking a deep eyeshadow along the lower lashline to create a bottom-heavy, bedhead look.

Get the look: Use the SMOKE shade from your favourite Luxury Palette to smoke along the lower lashline to create instant sleepy eyes, then apply a subtle reverse eyeliner with the eye-defining black shade from my Super Nudes Liner Duo.
