Everyone's Talking About Anti-Blush... Here's How To Get The Look!

Keep your blush neutral and nude with the anti-blush makeup trend.

Darlings, when you think about blush, your mind goes to hot, hot pink colours that give your cheeks that dreamy, pinched look. Blush is one of my favourite parts of my makeup routine because I just love the way it rushes colour into the face and makes everyone look so healthy and rosy, but some people prefer to skip blush to keep their look in a more bronzey, nude makeup world.

Does that sound like you, darling? If you like to keep your makeup more neutral, anti-blush might be the blush trend for you! Discover everything you need to know about the anti-blush look that’s taking over social media and learn how to get the look with my AIRbrush Flawless Blush Blur.

Anti Blush Makeup Look

What is anti-blush?

You would be forgiven for thinking anti-blush meant you don’t like to apply blush makeup, but that’s not what it means at all darlings! Anti-blush is a term people are using on social media to describe the looks they are creating with nude, beige and brown blush tones. If you are wearing an anti-blush look, you are still very much wearing blush darlings… It refers to a preference for more nude-leaning blushes that softly define your cheeks rather than giving them a pinky, peachy pop. Personally, I love all blush tones from cherry to berry to baby pink to vibrant coral! But there’s something about the anti-blush trend that has piqued my interest. The way the nude tones meld so effortlessly into your complexion creates such a soft, editorial effect… It’s a different dimension of blush that leaves you blushing in secret!

Get the look: Anti-blush

To get the anti-blush makeup look, you should reach for a blush colour that closely matches your skin tone. Anti-blush should sit seamlessly between your bronzer and concealer, creating a tonal, nude veil that blushes your cheeks so delicately, it’s almost like you aren’t wearing any blush at all!
