“Empowering everyone, everywhere to unlock the magic of confidence has always been my passion and purpose – a vision shared by Susie Wolff and F1 ACADEMY. My brand was created for everyone, everywhere, and as a female-founder I’m thrilled that we’re the first ever beauty brand to support these powerhouse drivers through our partnership with the F1 ACADEMY. We are standing proudly behind the incredible young women making waves in the fast-paced world of Formula 1®.

Motorsport has a huge female following, and the drivers of F1 ACADEMY are already increasing representation and diversity in the sport. With this partnership, we will use our global platform to elevate this new generation of fearless young female drivers, and open up the traditionally male-dominated world of motorsport to even more talented young women.

This partnership celebrates the strength, determination, and the undeniable power of female excellence. It’s all about the winning and “Dare to Dream it” mindset! I always say you can makeup your destiny - which is why we made it the empowering mantra of this partnership - its even emblazoned on our F1 ACADEMY race car!! Get ready to race towards your dreams, darlings, and makeup your destiny!”

Susie Wolff MBE, Managing Director, F1 Academy™️:

“At F1 ACADEMY we want young women and girls to feel confident to chase their dreams, no matter the odds. We are on a mission to transform access to our sport, celebrate trailblazing female pioneers in our industry, and inspire a new generation of young women to pursue a career in motorsport.

It’s a huge privilege to be partnering with Charlotte Tilbury, a brand whose values align so closely to our own. I want to thank Charlotte for believing in our mission and enabling us to reach a new audience of young women to showcase the opportunities available to them in our sport. Our message to them is simple: dare to dream.”

The category is designed to give drivers access to more track time, racing and testing, as well as support with technical, physical, and mental preparations. It will provide young talent in junior categories with access to the fundamental level of experience needed to progress to higher levels of competition and join the Road to F1.

The landmark partnership will empower the next generation of young women in motorsport and continue Charlotte’s mission to unlock the magic of confidence and bring dreams to life!

HOW DO F1 ACADEMY™ RACES WORK?

There are 4 main elements to an F1 ACADEMY™ race day format: One Free Practice Session (40 minutes), The Qualifying Session (30 minutes), and then 2 Races, each lasting 30 minutes.

During the Practice Session, drivers have free reign to familiarise themselves with the track and warm up for the competition. They then enter the Qualifying Session, where their fastest lap will decide their grid position for Race 1 and their second fastest lap will decide their grid position for Race 2. Race 1 will then commence, followed by Race 2. Points will be allocated per race, adding to the drivers' scoreboard for the season.

How the Points System Works for F1 ACADEMY™

● Drivers in pole position for Race 1 and 2 will be awarded 2 points.

● The top 10 finishers for each race are awarded the following points: 25, 18, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1.

● 1 point is awarded per race to the driver that clocks in the fastest lap time.

HOW MANY ROUNDS ARE IN F1 ACADEMY™?

The 2024 F1 ACADEMY™ campaign will span over seven different rounds, beginning in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in March and ending in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi in December. Each round takes place over a weekend, which will feature one Qualifying session and 2 Races.
