I’ve been friends with Laura Bailey since we were teenagers, so it was a pleasure to have her join me for this How To video! She has the most incredible pale green eyes, and I wanted to demonstrate how copper and russet tones can really pop that colour.
A smokey eye is a classic make-up look which can easily be worked up from wearable daytime to glamorous evening. The technique is the same whatever your eye colour, you just need to adjust the colour of your eyeshadow quad to contrast with your eyes.
- Blue eyes – Try browns, cold greys
- Green eyes – Try russets, coppers, plums
- Hazel eyes – Try greens, bronzy golds
- Brown eyes – Try very strong colours: emerald green, cobalt blue, purples
