1. To use, getting as close to your lash line as you can, start from the inner corner of your upper eyelid.

2. Draw a thin line across your eyelid outwards until you are two thirds towards the outer corner, then lift & extend the line outwards & upwards to create the illusion of an almond-shaped eye.

3. Work quickly to perfect & correct any mistakes, this brilliant formula will set after 30 seconds & stay in place until you decide to take it off!

4. Keep your eyeliner pencil sharp, as a blunt instrument draw a blunt, lacklustre line!

Charlotte Tilbury Rock 'n' Kohl - Eye Liner - Elizabeth Violet is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing My main issue with this is the colour. It isn't violet at all; it's brown. The colour does nothing to enhance my green eyes. Although it goes on smoothly and sets quickly, it does need touching up later in the day as it fades. Very disappointing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hallowed be thine greene eyes that violet makes green eyes pop is a no brainer, the problem with other purple liners has been that they used to be too loud, reddish or blueish. This one has the perfect balance: you don't look like 80s and green eyes shine. Now I hope for a green enhancing reddish brown liner (you hear Me, Mrs T.?)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ROCK 'N' KOHL easy to apply, does not drag over delicate eyelids. Colour does not stand out or shout mutton dressed as lamb!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ROCK 'N' KOHL An eyeliner pencil that is superb. A wonderful easy application and gorgeous rich colour( (Elizabeth Violet) that lasted on me all day. I find eyeliner difficult to last usually but this DID last. I'll be looking at other colours now as well.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing colour Whilst I love rock n kohl eye liner I am very disappointed at the colour. It looks brown on not violet at all. I would have returned it had I not tried it which of course I needed to do

Rated 4 out of 5 by from ROCK 'N' KOHL Love the texture only wish it was a bit more pigmented and longer wearing

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stay Put This pencil does what I want it to do. Goes on with saturated color, and stays put 12 hours with minimal fuss when set with a matching powder. Being older, I have color that moves into lines on the lower lash. This pencil, when set with powder shadow, drifts minimally into the lines. The drift is so slight, that just touching up with my finger every so often is enough to keep the effect in good shape.
